You can say anything, the technique is make a observation, make up a random story (say fucking anything), and include details (ex vanilla ice cream in skyzone socks) . Then just build on commonalities. Lie about your commonalities if you need to. I feel like girls like it when you have similarities, especially if it's one of her passions.
Ex) She's been painting as a hobby consistently since she was 7. You (Not giving a fuck about painting) Wow!!!!!! I love painting!!!!! (Google random piece of expensive artwork, screenshot, send) -- You: "The artistic beauty in this just stuns me, its my all time favorite artwork. There's a painting studio a couple blocks from us, let's go tomorrow at 8?"
