@Juxtapose If falling in love with virtual assistant software & AI reduces the odds of meeting or interacting with psychotic people, then so be it.
What you are doing is substituting human interaction with a mindless machine. I could totally get you if there was sentience there, but you are basically talking to a wall that has a bit of fancy programming.
And why be so safe? You would be a loooot safer if you never drove a car, but I bet you still do that.
