Do men prefer docile, submissive and shy women?

I've been talking to a couple guy friends and it seems like the majority of them and other men prefer submissive women over other women, is this true? I used to be shy in the past but now I'm just quiet when no one is speaking to me and I LOVE to talk, I also hate it when people try to control me unless it's school/work related so I'm not very submissive, I also like being a leader/the boss. Is this a turn off?

There are extremes to being either submissive, or dominate. For marriage I think most guys prefer a woman a little more on the submissive side because it lowers the number of fights. We don't want to fight with our wives just to make sure we get our way some of the time.

That doesn't mean we are looking for a woman to control. I want her to make her feelings known and to stand up for what is important to her. I think too many women are just taking things too far, and can't ever stop challenging her husband on every little thing.

Somewhere in the middle is best, but if I had to choose an extreme, I would say almost all guys would rather extremely submissive wives, over being extremely dominate wives. The types of women, that so many are striving to become are exactly the kinds of women men don't want. Women tend to be attracted to VERY dominate men, and they expect men should be attracted to the same traits that they are attracted to. Attraction just doesn't work that way, but under the belief that it does, a lot of women have taken it way too far.

I personally want a submissive wife, because I am rather submissive. I hate fighting. I just want to talk about our issues and resolve them as a team. Doing that is impossible with a dominate woman. She will fight to get her way ever single time. It just isn't worth being married if I have to fight over every decision. I don't want a woman that thinks she is the boss. That is the entire reason guys prefer more submissive women.

Everybody is different mate. Don't ever think you need to become something to win a man because it's a load of crap. Your best option is to be yourself and do what comes naturally, that way you'll never go wrong. Never lose yourself trying to be someone else.

Everywhere else in life, I like a woman who knows what she wants and isn't afraid to go after it. I relate to her better that way.

Most men definitely prefer a woman who is submissive in bed. Most of us also prefer a woman who treats us respectfully and doesn't try to boss us around.
