There is no exact stat for this, it's very hard to measure.

We do know a few things however,

- The human females fertility cycle is essentially invisible to the human male, this allows women to more easily mate with other men, as males tend to mate guard during ovulation, and studies show that women are more attracted to certain features depending what stage of their monthly cycle they are on.

- Depending on the stat we know that 1 in 4 - 1 in 5 men raise children that aren't theirs and they don't know. Meaning that is a whole lot of women cheating and hiding it VERY well, especially since sex most often does not result in pregnancy now days.

- Women are, on average, much much better liars then men and they are also less likely to confess cheating and less likely to get caught.

- We are learning that women cheat at least as much as men and possibly more, but since the subject is so hard to study with accuracy we may never know the true statistics.

Surveys and estimates vary, but it's somewhere between 12% and 45%, and the longer the relationship the greater the chance.
Married women rarely cheat until 5 years into a marriage, and married men rarely cheat until 10 years into a marriage.
I think this has a lot to do with it, because most women can't stat in love with the same man for more than about 4 years, even if he's a better man than ever.

Religious men will cheat more often than Atheist men, but the same doesn't apply to women. Women who cheat will do it about 50% more often than men who cheat.

There is probably no accurate way to measure that since there are probably just as many false accusations of cheating as there are legitimate accusations (goes for both sides). I wouldn't know.

I have heard about studies that show about 50% of men and women cheat, normally with men cheating 1 or 2% more often than women. This is just what people will admit to during an interview. I am sure the real numbers are much much higher for both genders. It wouldn't surprise me if over 90% of men and women cheat at some point in their lives. Exactly where to find these studies, or how these studies were done, I unfortunately have no clue.
