First date going for a walk in the rain?

so, I was with this guy i met recently and he is really kind and everything then our first date was a few days ago and we went for a walk... what kind of a date is that? I straightend my hair, i paint my nails and i put my best make up on. We went for a walk and it was raining we both were drenched and it was the worst, it was raining all day and not suddenly or something not like he couldn't have prevented it, I was really frustrated and i really wanted to go to a restaurant and eat or drink something, i was thinking if he was just afraid to pay? but honestly i would've paid for myself if he wouldn't want to. I told him that it wasn't like other dates i expected, and he said that he can't control the wheather i said it was raining all day and then he said i'm a golddigger and hung up.

A walk in the rain can be fun. Grabbing a cuppa and chow at a food truck and just go for a nice quiet walk , see the world go by. Doesn't always have to... sit in a restaurant opposite to each other , dine and talk , that's frankly , rather boring.
