the do's and don'ts depends on the girl entirely... see if you can spend some time with her and get to know her a bit... don't go all guns blazing flirting at first... think of it as one human being trying to interact with another... hold your feelings on pause for as long as you can and try to get to know her a bit... girls love it when you take an interest in their lives...

Thanks, I do have a huge issue with putting others before me, I care wayyyy too much about people who don't give a crap about me lol I always treat people with the utmost kindness and respect and I overdo it most of the time. This is something I should work on
