Soph in college. I have never stepped into the dating circle until now. I've been chasing my dreams/goals, not anything else. The girl's my age seem too immature.

Mature as in responsible and able to understand the consequences of his choices yes. But I would find someone who was always serious and focusing on work/adult point etc boring. Besides being mature I want someone who can also be spontaneous, funny and not afraid to participate in "childish" activities such as climbing trees or whatever. He should be able to let loose sometimes and live life to the fullest. Like I want someone who is down to earth and smart, full of positive energy and open to try new things. Someone who can adapt to different situations and be serious and mature when required but who doesn't take life too seriously.

All girls are different. Some preferred mature guys and some would prefer immature guys. Personally for me, I'd prefer a mature guy. A mature guy is more realistic and would understand better than an immature guy.

Serious, depends. Do you have a sense of humor and like to goof off at all?
Too serious is a turn off and bores me. Serious at times where you need to be serious is preferred lol
