My boyfriend wants to go skinny dipping with me.. If he wants to go swimming why not the pool or the beach? Why does he want to go skinny dipping in a lake?

As I see it, it can either be because he wants to see you naked.. Or he's in the mindset that being naked around one another is more romanti, c as in you're keeping no secrets and "open up" more to the other person.
