Why a hookup still follows me on social media?

So I had a one night stand with this guy I actually chatted with several days before actually meeting up. We shared pretty deep things with each others. I just thought he was really nice guy and thought we might become friends (nope not a couple, I don't fall for hookups) but after the night he started to ignore my messages. So I decided not to bother anymore and just let him be.

But this confuses me. Why doe she still follow my social media? Why does he watch every single Snapchat Mystery I upload? I don't get it. If he hated me so much he doesn't want to chat, why doesn't he just unfriend me?

It seems clear that he wants to leave his options open. If he only had sex with you, and then wouldn't even chat with you, don't bother about him: he'll never be genuinely interested, even if he says so.
