I might get intimidated if I like a guy but it's not due to performance or behavioural anxiety its due to caution that this person has the power to hurt my feelings or put my happiness at risk because I value their time and connection to me.

I do feel insecure with a crush. I feel fine talking to her "as a person" but if I want to make her know that I "want more" then I feel should would reject me.
