That's between you and your partner. Cheating is something you do and then tell your partner you didn't. If your partner doesn't care, it's fine. If it bothers your partner, but you continue, maybe you should be with someone who is more open-minded.
in person.. it is okay.. over social media... I don't think so...
what about asking others for pictures?
what sort of pictures..
like nudes basically
I believe that is known as crossing the line.. by flirting in person.. I meant.. others will be present.. and flirting is a way of connecting...
may I ask why such question?
It happened in my last relationship that I left because I felt it was cheating but he didn't.
it is cheating...
Instead of trying to draw a hard line between what is cheating and what isn't, why not ask what is respectful of your partner and what isn't?
Obviously, it's not respectful to your partner to be flirting with other people.
I would probably be mad at my boyfriend, which would probably lead to having no trust in the relationship.
I honestly think it matters how far it goes, but I myself wouldn't tolerate it.
I say no, I think cheating means actually acting on your flirting, but if you're just talking to someone else in a friendly manner I see no harm
Yes. The flirting will always turn into something more and cross boundaries.

It may not technically be cheating, but it sure isn't considerate of your partner. Would you mind if they were doing the same?
Emotional cheating is still cheating. Plain and simple, the intent is there even if the real-life actions aren't.
Not intrinsically. A friendly flirting session is harmless and without consequence, but if you intend to evolve it into a relationship, then it is indeed cheating.
it depends how far they take it. it's definitely not good. I would be ok if it was between friends but only if it was only texting nothing more.
if the other person was doing it, I wouldn't do the flirting.
I said yes.. but it actually depends on how far you take it
Depending on how far they take it it can lead to cheating. Its totally disrespectful though no matter how far they go.
Its cheating. If you have a bit of flirty banter with someone in person, for me its no big deal, but over text its cheating.
maybe but it depends how serious and if they have any intentions to act out on the flirting
Not in my opinion if it's sexting or like sending naked pictures or something
You can't really flirt unless you say something to really turn someone on!
It depends on the feelings of the two people in the relationship.
I feel it is no cheating is acts or if one spends more time flirting then with the other any thoughts
I'm a lefty, I slap you with my right hand... Did I still slap you?
of course it's cheating

Um yes you should stop before you get caught
