Should I break up with my boyfriend because he's broke and makes me pay for everything?

I've been seeing a guy i met online for a month. He's funny and good looking and charming. But he only paid for the first date and i was the one paying for every date from then on. We would meet everyday and go out for drives in my car and never offered to pay for gas. I pay for beer and food and we live an hour away from each other but since i have a car I'm the one meeting him in his area. He says he wants to get married. He says he wants kids. He says he wants a dog. But why would he say all these things when he's broke. My resentment is building up and i want to end this. He emotionally blackmaild me saying I'm a spoiled rich girl and i look down on poor people. By the way I'm not a rich kid. I'm a doctor and I've earned every single penny on my own. He wants to stay in resorts on weekends and expects me to pay for it.

As soon as you spouted the words, that he thinks that you're a rich girl and you look down on poor people. It brought my suspicions on your dudes actions, while yes we all hit a rough patch, but if he's spouting lines like that, and wanting to stay at resorts, and whatever on your time. It's not just a rough patch he's using you for your money (more than likely) because if he actually wanted a relationship he'd have to understand the give and take dynamics, not the "gimme, gimme, gimme, money game." Cut him loose and if he wants to come back when he becomes a big boy and wants to start paying for things, he can.

If it's just a financial situation, don't-- it'll pass sooner or later. however, if that is the way he treats you in general, I'd consider it.
