He never texts first, but always replies?

He never texts me first, but he always replies quite fast when I text him, and even seems happy to do so. It kind of bothers me that I always have to initiate because I really want him to text me first sometimes. I don't want to look needy or anything by texting him first all the time.

I haven't texted him in three days now to see if he says anything, but he hasn't yet. Should I keep waiting for a few more days or just text him? Is this a sign that he's not that into me?

Not entirely sure as I don't know how he feels about you however I'm someone who very rarely will message someone first (even someone I'm interested in him) because I don't want to annoy them. There are people who will do that though so don't take it as him not being interested in you or interested in talking to you. Do you spend time with each other? Or usually just you message him?

We met a few weeks ago and have been out on two dates, but he plays football at a professional level which makes it quite hard to meet him as he has practice everyday, both in the morning and in the evening and has important matches almost every weekend.

That's why I can understand why he doesn't text me first, but he always replies fast and seems happy. Also, he has the time to watch all of my stories on Snapchat, but still not texting me first?

To be honest I don't think you should look too much into it. Focus more on how he acts towards you in person rather then texting.

Also if you think about it him watching you're stories could be a good sign because it shows he is interested in what you have to post :-).

I can see that you are confused but I think if you have always been the one to text first just continue doing so if you are happy to.

Just because he isn't messaging you doesn't mean he doesn't want to talk to you as again if you would always be the one to message first he may think you are busy or something and be waiting to hear from you :-).

Also how often do you normally text him? As in everyday, every 2 days?

My crush does the same thing to me. I recently stopped texting him and it's so hard to deal with him not texting first.

I never really text anyone first, i just reply to anyone who texts me! so from my point of view i wouldn't see it as needy.. needy is when you text and get no reply n within 20 mins you are asking where he is
