Do guys mind if girls have sweaty hands?

I feel so embarrassed everytime my date want to hold my hands. This has caused problems for me in the way I perceive my ability to function normally around people. If I feel that my palms are sweaty I will avoid shaking hands or giving high fives. Am I worry too much or sweaty palms a real turn-off for men?

To clarify a little bit about my particular case, my palms do not sweat to the point of dripping. Sometimes a thin layer of moisture sits on my palms and fingers, sometimes it's completely dry, other times they just feel slightly damp

there are some levels of swear I have made for myself
if I go beyond that I use my hankie to clean my hands from my sweat.
I do that a lot.
and it won't affect you if you will shake hand or give high five with a level of sweat on your hands.
it's okay if it's just somewhat like slippery hand (not too much)
and it's not good that it's like some water in your hand.(you should use hankie if that happens.)
Nobody minds less sweat in hand (mostly cause it doesn't smell like underarms)
and if it's too much they think we didn't cleaned hand after Using the bathroom or toilet.
so it's better to clean at that time.
and nothing to worry if it's not that too much.

I actually suffer that same thing! It's very stressful having damp palms, whether with friends or just a partner. For me, it's not a turn off, but that's not because I also suffer from it, but because it's a medical thing!

Some superficial folks, however, would probably be turned off because it would be too different or unusual for them.

I have this too! I'm usually overdressed for the weather in one too many layers so my hands tend to sweat a bit, but I usually just rub them on my pants and then hold hands and it's no big deal... do you dress warmly too?

No. I wear sleevesless tops most of the time. But I can easily get overheated provided that I live in a humid country. by the way, are you a Singaporean?

I was born there! But now I live in the USA!!! That's part of the reason I tend to overdress, its' COLD here!

Actually, I have the same issue. My hands are always sweaty (which I believe is because of my anxiety).

Most guys honestly don’t mind. They’re suppose to be into you, not your hands.

No lol just wipe your hand if your that nervous, a guy has never said "no we didn't end up dating because her hands were sweaty". Or maybe try rolling antiperspirant on your hands before meeting.

It's just a sign that you're nervous. A lot of guys might actually take it as a compliment that you're nervous around him, so a good thing to do might be to jokingly say "sorry I'm a bit nervous"

It's just a sign of nervousness, sweating like that. A good way to help prevent it, of course, is to just relax, but.. it'll help also if you're in a cool room, with either fan going, or the a. c. going, that way you're not overheating.. drinking water also helps too. Your body perspires when you're dehydrated, so it's always a good thing to keep a water bottle somewhere near

I get nervous on a date and my hands sometimes sweat as well. It doesn't really bother me any if a girl has sweaty hands, just wipe them off before I take your hand.
