My sister chooses her friends over us?

My sis of 22 decided to cut off contact with my older sister who is severly depressed saying she is ashamed of her and she decided to cut off my mom to for enabling her. She then decided to cut me off too for sticking to my sisters side, she hasn't spoken to me in 6 months and decided to pick her friends over her sisters. I can't call her when im in trouble or need help cause she never picks up the phone. I decided to never let her back into my life for betraying me like that and i decided that she is just a horrible person who chooses strangers over family. Do people like that ever regret that?

Your sister might not be wrong. It might not be the fact she's ashamed of her depression, but the fact she isn't dealing with it.
Is she actively seeking treatment and trying to get better? Or is she in a low and staying there? Are your family members enabling her to stay there instead of seeking help?

Being a support person to lift them, not just sympathise is really hard. If your sister has had enough of that and is choosing to support and lift herself instead, that's just the right choice for her
