Why? I know there is feelings there left over and its not something you just detach from easy but for your own good, he is not worth it. If he wants nothing to do with you then why use up anymore of your valuable time which could be better used to find the right guy who will respect you, treasure you, cherish you, make passionate love to you, and most important, unconditionally love you as you should be loved. Why stay off the path that leads to this result for even one more day? That type of love does exist but sometimes we have to be with a few people who show us what type of relationship we don't want before we know what we really long for. Be fair with yourself and allow yourself to finally have what you deserve in a man. Don't use one more second going after the former. WHat happens is that guys are pretty much okay after a break up and girls are a mess. But after a month it's the other way around. Especially if the girl is really on a road of recovery.
While girls have people to talk to and give them emotional support, guys don't have that. 'Be a man' is all we get to hear in times of trouble. Eventually for guys the realitation of the loss sets in and it's the guys that really start to hurt and for a much longer time as well. Sometimes months or even years.

Reinventing yourself like someone else suggested trying to get him to notice you will only make you look desperate and 9/10 he'd just be laughing at you possibly with the next chick and/ or his friends. He "just left" then hold the door open for him and lock it. He didn't give any explanation? Why do you want someone who just leaves you without telling you why?
