Is being a serious woman unattractive?

I mean the days I act bubbly and bright I get lots of attention but other days when I am not on the mood and act like a more serious version of myself I just get stares from far. I am serious and thoughtful person with my quirky and light sides but generally I have more serious looks unless I know someone closely. Is it necessary to act happy, bright and light all the time?

Not at all if she's serious when the situation calls for it and more relaxed when there's no need to be serious. A lot of stuff happens in life that requires being serious and I'd be more concerned about a woman that was all bubbly when serious stuff is happening. That would make me concerned that she's not going to deal with stuff that needs to be dealt with.

Serious all the time would be hard to deal with though because it's good to have fun when possible. The right mood at the right time is perfect.

I'm pretty serious no nonsense at work and I find people are less willing to approach me that way, which is fine for me. I'm at work not looking to be hit on. But yes being serious makes you look closed off and give a "keep the hell away from me" vibe.
Being open, smiling, laughing and bubbly is like and invitation to approach and to talk to you.
I don't think it's "unattractive" but it's not helpful if you're looking to be approached.

No. Being bright and happy all the time is unrealistic though people will tend to be attracted to you more. From an anime i watched a girl said "faking tears hurt others, faking a smile hurt yourself" If you are happy smile, if you are sad then cry. No one will blame you for who you are, and if they do leave them. They dont deserve you

I have a resting bitch face haha. A lot of people have told me I seem intimidating and they're scared to approach me, which is why I approach other people first now. But when I'm talking to someone, or see someone I know, my face lights up and I smile all the time. People have said both sides of me are attractive.

By serious do you mean cold? I'm attracted to quirky and happy. Being cold is not necessarily a turn off, but it can be boring especially on a date. Moods fluctuate, noone expects people to be the same every day
