How are short/ugly/shy guys supposed to live their lives?

I'm 20 and in college. I get unconfident because life doesn't accept short guys, shy guys, or ugly guys. All women don't want any of those traits I described because they all want the tall, buff, confident, athletes, jerkish guys. Life says short guys can't get the same amount of money as the tall ones, it also says that ugly guys can't get dates same as the shy and short guys, and the only way to get women is money. How shallow is that? So if everyone is saying confidence is key, then how are they supposed to be confident if society and women don't even want them to succeed and give them a chance in life?

Secondly, you can get a girl. My bestfriend's husband is short, disabled, and not considered "attractive" by conventional means. Yet... he's married to an attractive 6'2" girl. The issue is that you all go for girls, get rejected, and delude yourself all to shit and blame it on US instead of maybe thinking there are things in yourself that you could improve. So you get bitter, delusional, and become the absolute opposite of a pussy magnet with your terrible attitude.

That's a sorry cop-out. Society has nothing to do with it, it's more a world you've created for yourself. Short, shy, ugly/unattractive have nothing to do with anything. Society accepts all of them, but self-deprecation and defeatist attitudes are not desirable traits. Get out there and meet/converse with people, and work on your self-esteem.

Yes, I've seen both. Neither dictate how others live their lives. Hollywood makes whatever it can to make a buck. Take social media with a grain of salt. Get out and live life. It's real. And it's different than what you see behind a computer monitor, a TV or movie screen, or the screen of your phone. Your move.
