I just embarrassed myself in front of the guy I'm dating?

Jesus Christ guys I'm so embarrassed. I've been dating this guy for about 6 months now and last night we talked on the phone for a bit. Now I have to tell you that I'm not a tech-savvy, and when I say I'm not I mean I have no clue whatsoever, I'm just not interested and have other passions. However I felt really stupid about this one. He just casually asked me about my phone bill and how much internet I have. Yes, I know these are basic stuff that everyone should know but I DID NOT KNOW. I'm still living at home preparing for college next year and my parents pay for my phone bill, all I do is make sure I don't use my mobile data excessively. And when it comes to the internet, I just didn't care to check, I mostly use wifi anyway. But fuck he laughed at me and I felt so bad. I fear that he might think I'm a spoiled child who doesn't know basic things in life. Do you believe he thinks I'm stupid? What can I do to make this less shittier? ( and please don't make things worse with the mean comments, I'm already anxious about this)

I kinda think he laughed bc he thought it was just funny you didn't know. The guy I used to date was really smart with science and maths and thought it was adorable when I couldn't do basic math, but there's also a lot of shit he doesn't know how to do that I do, which could make him feel dumb. I think you're completely over thinking it. He probably laughed because you're so ignorant, but unless he's ghosting you or avoiding you he doesn't have a problem with it. Ask him to teach you some basics. You don't need to know much, but the basics would help. (Difference between a gigabyte and a megabyte. Internet speeds. What is data. Stuff like that.)

If y'all have already been together for 6 months, something like this won't be the end of your relationship.
