How many times have you gotten rejected?

Question

I got rejected once. He told me I was hot (probably should have known that was a red flag) and invited me to his hockey games. He said he had to work up the courage to talk to me but then when I asked to for a relationship, he told me he liked a girl who lived 300 miles away and wanted to commit to her.

Once. I was a gawky, dorky 15 year old. I asked a boy I had a huge crush on to the school’s Sadie Hawkins dance. He told me I was cute, but didn’t want to go with me. I felt so bad. I heard him talking to his friends in the hall and said he didn’t think I was pretty enough for him. I cried when I got home, went with another boy, and had fun. I felt better after he wasn’t there because it turned out I was the only girl who asked him. I’m gorgeous now, so it was his loss.

once it was really weird. i was in middle school and i decided to ask a guy out after school i asked my friend for help while i was trying to do it he kept running away saying no while me and my friend chased him i look back on it and im both embarrassed and kinda intertied it was kida funny actually im sure they do the same thing to

to be honest, I haven't asked a guy out for him to reject me. But i have been rejected many times by the way they look at me and how they avoid me. so yeah I have. well, at least he complimented u :) the guys who rejected me usually do mean stuff to me T_T

Depends how you define rejection. Like actually talking to someone for a few months then asking for a relationship? In which case: once.

Online dating? Where people ghost and stop talking to each other? Probably hundreds of times in addition to ghosting/ignoring hundreds of women.

Guys tend to get rejected a whole lot more than girls, mainly because in our society the guy is supposed to go after the girl giving her all the power. I'm a shy guy and dont like rejection so dont ask out a lot of girls I've been rejected once but then again haven't tried an awful lot.

For every women who complains about a relationship problem there are problem 20 guys who are secretly agonized over rejection.

I've personally had 5 girls friendzone me after showing me some initial interest (worst rejection possible) and probably hundreds of others who have rejected me upon meeting them.

In general women have it much better than on men on this. But they will never know it.

Nothing you can do about that, she obviously got to him first. Most of us have been rejected more than once, it's just the way it is. Not everyone matches, that's why it's special when it happens
