My boyfriend and I have been dating nearly a year and a half and it’s been amazing so far. Recently I have gotten accepted to colleges and will be attending one in the fall. His grandmother was asking a lot of questions about how much money I am receiving and financial aid and all of that. When I told her I wasn’t comfortable sharing so much information she completely flipped. She sent my boyfriend a text saying how crazy I am and how I need mental help. She also stated that I am jealous of their relationship together. She threw some more terrible names in there and when he showed me it hurt me so bad I was crying. Since then a few months has passed and now she is trying to get him to come over and meet the girls she is housing for a swimming program and told him to “go alone... without you know who...” ME. I don’t know what to do as I can’t fix any of this... only he can. It really hurts me that she is trying to get him to meet other girls and be interested in them. Any advice? Thanks so much.

Update: He believes I am overreacting and being mean about the whole situation because I think it is wrong that she has the intention of him being interested in the girls she is housing. Which is true and why she mentioned to come alone.
I'm so sorry you have to experience that. I'm not sure what made your boyfriend's grandmother jump to such conclusions, but I think that the best you can do is to prove her wrong by simply excelling and doing the best you can for your boyfriend. After all, it's not her who you're in a relationship with. It's her grandson.
But if it does bother you a lot, talk it over with your boyfriend and see what he has to say or do about it.
