A lot of guys nowadays don’t bother calling first when they get your number or do the pursuing. What happened?

Maybe they're sick of being rejected or turned down so they want us to show some initiative or prove we're actually interested in them?

Which honestly, I don't mind. I did that with the last guy I had a crush on- I texted and called him first after he gave me his number. He basically put the ball in my court to pursue him if I wanted.
However, it's irksome because it makes you wonder just how interested they are in you if you're making the first move...

I feel that it depends on how the numbers were swapped. If you get his number, you call/text him first and if he gets yours, he calls/texts you first. After that, it should be evenly engaging. If it's one sided, then there's no fun in it for the one doing all the work.
Communication and dating in general should be like a game of ball, not a game of fetch.

Because alotta girls are weird these days act like they want you once we get your numbers then out of the blue act like. you wasn't with it or just playing hard to get whixh id just confusing lol and we feel stupid trying to hit you up. I just stick to Tinder these days i don't even bother getting at girls i just met or seen anymore
