It depends on what we call nerdy and how nerdy.

I would say I tend to like nerdy guys, in the sense that I usually fall for guys that maybe would either enjoy reading books a lot, love scifi, enjoy getting knowledge and know a lot about certain topics (robotic engineering, computer programming, cinema, history of philosophy, etc.), like comics, videogames or even rol... However there are nerds who are annoying who are logically smart and brag about it and behave condescending with other people, because they lack of any emotional and social intelligence.

That's 100% false, at least for me. I only like nerdy guys. Guys that worry more about learning and questioning things. Guys that pay more attention to intellectual topics and exercising their brain instead of other superficial things...

Think back to high school. Who got all the girls? It was the jocks. The nerdy kids who were coding or in the chess club were more likely than not virgins until their late 20's or even 30's. A lot of nerdy guys will say to themselves " Oh I can't get the ladies because I'm in the physics club" or " I like comic books and this is why the girls won't date me" or " I need to play football if I ever want to get laid!"

This is complete and utter bullshit.

Most woman don't give two shits about football or what ever sport. The reason they all got the tingles was because the jocks were cocky assholes that did not really give two fucks about anything.

Woman will never admit it but that attitude is what gets them all hot and horny.

What the nerds of high school never understood was that woman are attracted to strong , confident men. As a rule woman are not into nerdy guys because they lack confidence , they lack a certain level of manliness that gives woman the tingles. Just like with sports, most woman don't give two shits about the chess club or the physics club.

As long as a man is :

-confident
-does his own thing
-knows what he wants
-does not chase after woman like some lost puppy
- and is just the right amount of cocky.

Woman will always get the tingles. Nerd or not.

First and foremost, it's matter of perception. I don't think it's valid to generalize millions of women and speak on behalf of all of them that [Women] don't like this and that. It's not accurate to do so.

There are many nerds who found love. You know, true actual love destroys every measure by all means. My prime example would be Dr. John Nash. A nerd who suffered from schizophrenia and still her wife was attracted to him and stood by him at all costs to the end.

While it is false, I think that most women are not attracted to nerds, or at least those who are high on the nerdiness spectrum. Ultimately, the nerdiness can be overcome by becoming successful in life and in one's career. Just look at Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos.

Hmm well I don’t have that many guy friends, and almost all of them are nerdy.
I see them as friends and it is hard to see them as anything more. But they are definitely great and trustworthy friends that are there to help you and laugh whenever you need.
It depends on the level of nerdiness, if a guy is smart and is very interested in nerdy things but he is also interested in other things, if he takes care of his appearance and does not look like a complete nerd, then of course he can be attractive.

False, in elementary school every girl ridiculed me for it. But middle school and onward they found the intelligence to be attractive. If your successful and knowledgeable in something that can be a boost in attraction. However, if you don't make an effort to look appealing your going to get minus points not for being nerdy but for looking uninteresting.

What messes people up is getting too obsessed with their eyes & thinking they love someone unlike them because of lust.

I'm a hybrid: sports, music, and computer guy. I was at a tennis tournament, and my coed partner's son needed a charging cable for his tablet. i store different types of cabling in my bag, for computers - they come in handy. i pulled different cables from my bag, found the right one, and gave it to the kid. she seemed more turned off than appreciative. so i dunno.
