We had an argument about him smoking, he’s been doing it for years but every time I say something about it he never listens to me, yesterday he told me he’s so stressed he’s going to smoke a lot and that’s why we had an argument. He said I never complained about it before but yes I have he just never listens to me. Like who would be okay with their boyfriend basically killing themselves. I told him I hate him during it it felt so good to say I hate him. I do hate him but I love him aswell how’s he going to react to it?

Well, I would suggest apologizing. Words hurt even if people don't show it and they can add up (little things that nag at the back of your mind). But honestly, its an issue but not a big one.
