My boyfriend replied to his ex gf’s text, what should I do and why?

So I found text message of his ex girlfriend texting him a sexy photo on his birthday night. His text message back said , “oh and no birthday wish all day”?

Is it appropriate for this to be happening? I mean he didn’t comment on her photo or anything. He just basically asked her why didn’t she wish him a happy birthday.

She responded that she didn’t get an invite so didn’t say anything.

What should I do and explain why?

If you feel confident enough to raise this with him, list a few things first to avoid stumbling or seeming preemptive. How did you find it. Observe how he reacts to the picture when questioned. And voice your feelings. If he was to have told her not to send those such things again and had deleted the image then it wouldn't look so bad. But it doesn't seem good at the moment. Hope you can source a solution.

The fact she's sending him sexy pictures to him doesn't help matters. I'd dump his ass, but that's just me.
