I have been away from school for something like 16-17 years. I often find it funny seeing people I went to school with because many of them look so much older than I do, many of them already have hair loss or grey hair. I don't always recognize them. I laugh to myself because these were the "popular" people from my school and many of them picked on me for being geeky 😂
Looking back at my highschool about 10 years ago, the girls have honestly stayed mostly the same. The guys however are the ones changing rapidly. Some of them have become bonafide models while others are already starting to get bald. One or two even did surgery to become females.. Strange times we live in. Some of them impressed me, while some of them disappointed me. For the girls it really pretty much stayed the same and I'm still attracted to the same ones.
I met my ex crush from college years later (we're both still at college) and she's totally different now. No smile, no pride in her aura. Neither a boyfriend, since the one she proudly showed off to me back then had betrayed her whilst she was abroad for a semester.
I’ve had this type of experience several times for physical and non physical reasons and for a while I also gained a bunch of weight but then I lost some again. So actually I think it’s a common and normal experience.
My ex from high school is now covered in flea market tattoos and is on her 4th (maybe 5th, not sure) pregnancy, all different guys. I knew she was trashy, but I didn't know how trashy. So the answer is yes.
Honestly, no, primarily because I’m 15, but also because if and when that happens.. I probably won’t act like you. Just because she doesn’t look like she did when she was younger doesn’t mean she isn’t still the same person. You must have fallen for her looks, and not her, herself.
What I’m saying, is I wouldn’t be disappointed. If I liked them as a person.. I wouldn’t be disappointed in their appearance, because for me, it doesn’t make them any less beautiful. But that’s me.
But I think yes, finding your partner attractive could help you I suppose, but say I hated people who don’t like kids, or animals... and I want a dog, I doubt finding them attractive is gonna help that argument.
I don't know, I just feel like if she were to see this, and know it was you, she’d feel pretty bad, and you mentioned something with her health caused this? I mean, she’d probably feel even worse.
I believe that her case involved a benign tumor in the brain and less aggressive measures had been tried and failed. In my experience, most physicians are reluctant to have a patient on steroids for long term use so they are used as a last resort.
Usually this type of girls that you describe (blonde, blue eyes etc.) may look good in their teens and 20s but age really fast after 30. Most white people are like that. Hispanic and black people age much better
I have seen this both ways. In elementary school we had girls that were so hot and some that were considered unattractive. And the hot ones went down hill and the unattractive got hot. So be nice
Simple I am neither dissapointed nor happy. Each one their journey and most of us know well the choices and the consequences when choosing it. So that it.
it's happened to me. girls faces change a lot through puberty so my crushes could've had something great at the time but they look average now and i wasn't interested after.
"I don’t get why them getting fat is a disappointment." That simply means that you don't understand. It doesn't mean that everyone else is wrong for feeling something that you do not comprehend.

Stop whining and do what Mr. Burns did. Hook up with old lady's sexy daughter...

My friend always said, look at the Daughter's Mom. You will be able to see the future. This goes for the Dad and Son too.
I say you could go as far as comparing health, and values too. After all, the apple does not fall far from the tree.

Thanks for the virtue signalling. Did you read all of what I wrote?
Lol yes

Physical attraction is a part of a healthy relationship.
I’ve never heard of that, but I’m not relationship expert..
But I think yes, finding your partner attractive could help you I suppose, but say I hated people who don’t like kids, or animals... and I want a dog, I doubt finding them attractive is gonna help that argument.
Loving your partner for their looks and not their personality is a waste of wedding money, lol, it’s not all about their physical looks.
Right. Being physically attracted is necessary but, by itself, is is clearly not enough to make a relationship work.
Yes. That’s what I’m saying.

Systemic Steroids medications are the most evil medications that doctors foist upon us. With the worst side effects.

I don't think Hispanic and black people age better. Aging sucks for all of us!

Oh yes, the sad part is I graduated highschool only 5 years ago.
Beautiful wholesome looking redhead girl put on a ton of weight and now looks like a middle age mom. Not really sure what happened.
I don’t get why them getting fat is a disappointment. They don’t exist for your enjoyment.

I’m judgy and you’re sad some poor chick you knew in high school got fat? 😂 u know it’s shallow as fuck, man.
Where did I say that I was sad?
I dont think so, no. Everybody i know are just getting more fine every time i see them.
Stay tuned!
I've seen a few people who I had crushes on in high school who are now almost recognisable due to how far they've dropped the ball
I've had this happen a few times... More of the Sandy Fink situation of "what the fuck was I thinking"
The girl at my school that I found so attractive that she made me realise I'm bisexual, met her a few years later and she's not doing too well :(
Yea, strangely enough pretty much every middle school crush I happened to meet again haven't won puberty 😅
