My partner is the same hight as me, her body frame is also the same as mine, her hands are larger than mine, and I'm not a small man by any means (5"11). I'm not intimidated by tall women, but I guess I like to feel as though I'm stronger physically, and can lift heavy things that she can't, perhaps if she were stronger than me I would feel as though my masculinity had been undermined and although I'm aware of it, I think somewhere deep down it might negatively affect my confidence as a man.

Looks, strength height etc are all superficial. The true connection comes from the inside and lasting relationships are build on more than just looks and size. Look and connect with the things which the other person can control. Not what they cannot. This way you will see their true personality and caring side.

+1 yTaller, definitely. As to bigger or stronger, maybe. I don't find female bodybuilders attractive and if she is too overweight, that would be a dealbreaker as well. But one that is into for example, Crossfit, sure. I've also seen some powerlifters that I found really attractive.

But frail or weaker? Hell no. If I can break a guy in half like a toothpick or he's weaker than I am, it won't work out with me.

+1 yMaybe. Recently saw the strongest woman in the world pound for pound, Stefi Cohen. She weighs 123 pounds and squats 500 pounds. And weighs less than me. It's kind of ridiculous-strong. She's strong as fuck. I only squat 300 or so. I should squat more, but I've had some knee issues and several hamstring injuries. The ironic part is I bench 270. So my chest and arms are about as strong as my legs. Which is kinda depressing. I'm getting side tracked, haha. Point is, Stefi is 1.65x stronger than me, lower body. And she weighs 20 pounds less than me. She's a beast.
She's got relatively large arms, too. It's not the most attractive thing in the world, but we'd share a love of fitness, so maybe. She seems kinda cool, chill, confident. Doesn't have the best looking face, though. But in a certain light she looks attractive to me. At least with clothes on. At the same time, she looks quite masculine with her arms and legs, which is a pretty big turn off. *processing... ... ...*
I dunno. It would definitely be out of the ordinary for me. And it definitely would not be ideal. But possible, I think. I'd def want to *get* stronger than her at some point. And I'd know that I should have a higher potential, as a male, and she's trained a lot longer than me, so I should be able to catch up to her, even though I'm old now.
To actually answer the question, I could deal with stronger. Bigger, I don't think I could. Taller, possible.10 Reply
+1 yI have dated a shorter guy than me but he will always be my first love! Love overrides everything!
I agree that I would prefer a man taller than me because thatās natural! So initial attraction would be to the taller guy! But you can only be with someone taller because he makes you feel safe for a certain amount of time before love prevails and the short guy is not short anymore he is the love of your life and looks are instantly irrelevant! Look and Jamie cullum and Sophie dhal! Height is an initial attraction and it takes a certain type of guy to be able to be shorter than their woman! And that is attractive.
The term small man syndrome is a fact and thatās because by being short they know they have had to build on their personality as without that they are not going to get noticed!
Why date a boring skyscraper when we all want to end up with a bungalow!72 Reply- +1 y

+1 yThe question, of course, is "how bigger"?
Like, I wouldn't date a young female Arnold Schwarzenegger.
(With all respect to Mr Arnold, try as I might, I can't spell his surname right)
BBW and SBBW is also a big nono. They're not "beautiful", they're obese, and obesity is a sign of poor self care.
But if she's proportionally the same as an average woman, except twice the size somehow?
There would be some logistical issues, obviously, but that aside, I don't think I'd have too much trouble. At least initially.10 ReplyNo Iām not into She-Hulk. Iām 6ā3ā with a large muscular frame. Thatās not really what does it for me in the opposite sex. I do like when they have willpower and will try to do things themselves though. There are plenty of things a lot of women can do if they just try, but a lot of them will try and find a cop out as to why they canāt do it. I hate that weak spirited play the little girl crap. I like to see them try their hardest and when they do it, it feels good to know they can and will always try their best. If they come up short Iām happy to help.
10 ReplyTaller and stronger would not matter to me. As for bigger, it depends. If she is bigger than me then she probably would not look feminine enough for me. Funny thing is, in both of my serious relationships, the first girl was taller than me and roughly equal in strength. The 2nd girl I dated was shorter than me but about twice as strong, even though I was in the military. I wonder if her being Russian had anything to do with it? Most of the Russian women I've met who are my size or not much smaller than me have all been stronger than me.

+1 yTaller= perhaps, but I'd almost always prefer same height or shorter. If a girl can rest her head on my shoulders at standing height, then she fits me like two puzzle pieces locking together :D
Stronger= Well, strength has more to do with neurology, and muscle fibre recruitment, etc. Girls can be "dainty" but, with training, could nonetheless be very strong for their weight class. That said, I'm not into stocky/ muscular women, although "gym-fit" body type can be sexy as long as muscles aren't bulging and big. It always comes back to "slim and toned" for me.10 Reply - 1.3K opinions shared on Dating topic.

+1 yTaller? Yes, no problem.
Stronger? Itās extremely unlikely thatāll I ever meet a woman as strong as me in real life outside of an elite, super heavyweight female powerlifting national or international meet. My guess is maybe 1 in 100,000 woman would come anywhere close. So, the question just isnāt practical. If I did meet a woman as strong or stronger than me, then Iād assume sheās a heavy steroid abuser as well as elite strength athlete, and I wouldnāt date someone who sacrifices their own health to such a regard.
I probably wouldnāt date a woman bigger than me (180 lbs, 5ā8) because sheād almost certainly be fat. The only way this might not be the case is if she was very tall (5ā10+) and a dedicated athlete. In which case, no, I wouldnāt have a problem with it.10 Reply

So, yeah really dont matter what her size is... Lol10 Reply303 opinions shared on Dating topic. One of the things I've found surprisingly important to women and not so much us Men, (I'm recently dating again), is that they want to be shorter than the man. In their words, if they can't wear high heels and still be shorter than him, then they aren't as willing to date. E. g. if a guy is 175cm tall and she is 173cm, she is unlikely to want to date him.
While bizarre, it is what it is I guess. Maybe the women here can speak on the subject. Great question by the way.10 ReplyOne of the women I dated was taller than me, a lot taller.
She was/is so much taller that the top of my 5ā8ā head is level with the top of her shoulders.

Also you can research online but it doesn't matter because I doubt that was meant by the question.

710 Reply- +1 y
what other physical filters do you sift men through before you give a fuck about personality?
- +1 y
I don't know. Do you also wonder why men prefer a woman who has boobs and vagina? Like this is stuff most women prefer due to how we are genetically programmed.
- +1 y
right, there's preferences and deal breakers. Many guys prefer certain features but compromise. You're literally saying is a guy LOOKS fragile, not even is fragile, just LOOKS fragile.
- +1 y
i don't expect you to understand, talking to women about empathy and understanding is really a waste of time and frustrating.
- +1 y
If a guy looks fragile then he looks fragile compared to other men. He could still be stronger than me, but if 90% of men are stronger then what is the point? also, being physically weak can be fixed by being active. It is more of a lifesryle condition than something you can't change like height. Even a naturally skinny person can put some muscle and not look like the wind may take them.
- +1 y
If a guy is 5'7 and 150 pounds and toned, he'll look fragile compared to a group of body builders who are 6'0. So men should always be self conscious about not being to smallest guy in the room, are you suggesting height doesn't matter then, only muscle mass?
- +1 y
A 190 cm guy that is skinny and has tiny bones looks fragile. 170cm guys can look strong too. There are many factors that makes a guy look built, mainly bone density, muscle mass and body shape. I have seen average height guys that were skinny yet didn't look so fragile because they had a good bone structure and had wide shoulders. A really short guy, like 160 cm won't look intimidating, toned or not, but it is up to him if he looks fragile.
Bone structure and density is quite important. You see, I do lift too but my upper body is tiny. My hands look stringer, but the still look like noodles comoared to other people and I certainly struggle with strength there. It is harder to get a strong when your frame is tiny. It is not unfixable though. - +1 y
so if you went to the gym with your boyfriend and there were bigger guys around, you would break up since he looked fragile compared to them ?
- +1 y
How do people fix tiny bones?
- +1 y
So you're not understanding to guy who may in your situation with having a smaller frame. I guess it makes sense. women date up.

@Hassaniscool firstly like I said it's really seldom that I ever meet a guy smaller or weaker than me. I'm short myself. Secondly it just feels weird, I like having a guy bigger and stronger than me because it feels strange to have someone smaller, I feel like I should be the smaller one and I'm used to that.
- +1 y
Yes most women think that way and i think it should be that way. This is how world works.
- +1 y
@Mamamialetmego like back in the day, men would go for beautiful women with fuller or larger hips because they tied with with fertility, having healthy children and women liked bigger stronger men because it meant they could protect the women. So that natural instinct is within us. Not all will agree though
- +1 y
what races would you never date?

- +1 y
@Amourdillo š no that's not how women are. Was this your situation?
- +1 y
no it just makes the most sense why women feel short and smaller men are all these disgusting festering horrible people who should be written off from the dating world without a second glance.
yet women end up with the domestic abusers all the time. - +1 y
Being short is objectively worse than being a rapist or domestic abuser, women would give those guys a chance if he was tall and hot, they would probably leave him but he still gets a shot to redeem himself.
Short guys get thrown away off the bat. - +1 y
@Armourdillo a male domestic abuser could be short or tall. And no women don't feel like short or smaller men are disgusting.
- +1 y
im not saying short ones dont' exist. Im saying you have more of a chance dating being a tall rapist than a short guy who's normal.
- +1 y
You obviously do find some degree of repulsive if you write of all short men that exist on earth without even talking to them.
- +1 y
@Armourdillo yes in general a taller guy has a higher chance of getting a date than a shorter guy but that doesn't apply to all men. Some women go for shorter guys. And no I'm repulsed by them. I like what I like.
- +1 y
Not if he is a racist though.
- +1 y
You can like tall men but what about men being short makes you repulsed to not even see value and meeting them or allowing them to talk to you?
- +1 y
@Armourdillo they don't repulse and I'm not saying that I wouldn't see value in meeting them either. But I'm not going to lie and say I'd be attracted to a shorter guy than me. No one can force attraction. I like to feel smaller than the guy, so if a guy is shorter/smaller than me he looks less manly to me because then I'm bigger than him. I'm 5'3" / 1.59m , I rarely ever meet a guy shorter than me. Last time was in my first year of university.
- +1 y
Which was 5 years ago
- +1 y
So it's purely superficial correct?
- +1 y
@Armourdillo if you want to put it that way then yes
- +1 y
so would you suggest guys shorter than you wear lifts? if you think he's 5'5 and you get along, what would be the issue?
- +1 y
It's all about looks in the end, or are you saying being shorter than you makes ALL their features unattractive?
- +1 y
@Armourdillo no I wouldn't suggest that. It's not all about looks in the end. Everyone has a preference. I like chubby guys that are taller than me and that has a beard. Another girl's type might be a muscular ripped guy that is the same height as her and clean shaven. Just like different women have different types, so do men, and so do you. If you didn't like a girl that is flat chested that doesn't make you shallow. That's your preference. And no them being shorter than me doesn't make all their features unattractive.
- +1 y
But there's a difference between preferences and deal breakers. I have string preferences and light preferences. I don't prefer flat chested women, but one of my best friends is flat chested and we hooked up a lot because we like each other and i don't find her not being my type to make me find her repulsive. If she was obese then no, i wouldn't have most likely.
I would say obesity is a deal breaker for me as short is one for your or not having a bear not being chubby, etc. - +1 y
I prefer dark hair but wouldn't say "I would never date a blonde"
- +1 y
Saying " no I wouldn't date a guy smaller/shorter/weaker than me. " honestly doesn't sound like a preference, that sounds like a deal breaker. Usually preference talk about the preference not about what you don't accept.
Sorry if i interpreted that incorrectly. - +1 y
I understand your point. You did interpret it correctly because a guy being shorter than me is a bit of a deal breaker instead of being a preference.
- +1 y
that's why im confused why you're talking about preferences now.
- +1 y
If you were with a tall guy and he ends up in a wheel chair where he's shorter when sitting in it, would you leave him?
- +1 y
@Armourdillo of course not. Then that's not real love.
- +1 y
what about a guy being short makes them not possible for you to love them?
- +1 y
The barrier of them being shorter. Many people want to preach "personality is everything" yes I know, but when you first meet someone their appearance will grab your attention first, only then you get to know them, date, commit and fall in love. But the very first barrier of appearance (him being shorter than me) will stop that from occurring because I'm not attracted to men shorter than me.
- +1 y
Is that not shallow? i understand they might initial attraction. If a short guy approached you on the street he has a 0% chance because you wouldn't care to get to know him. But you're also saying if you got to know a short guy through a social circle, there 0% chance you would like him enough to have any form of feelings towards him.
- +1 y
@Armourdillo and people wonder why they can't find their soulmate, etc
- +1 y
I understand her. A girl taller than me would be a deal breaker for me.
Girls like taller guys, guys like shorter girls. There are exceptions of course, but this is usually the case. - +1 y
@ThisIsMyOpinion why a deal breakere
- +1 y
@Hassaniscool because I am 6'2 and I like to feel tall. I wouldn't feel good next to my own girlfriend.
I will never date a man smaller, shorter and weaker than me. No exceptions. I need a man to be taller, stronger and larger. I need to feel like im a woman and with a man.

Really? You don't look like 5'3in picture baby
- +1 y
Well it would be so easy to pick you up and throw it to my bed then š

Hahahaš
I think that the personality is the most important thing, so yes, ans im 6'2 soo most od the guys that i know are smaller 😂😂
50 ReplyTaller? Sure. I'm push 5'7" so it's not hard to be taller than me. Bigger? It depends on the definition and how she carries it. Stronger? I mean, maybe, but I don't find overly muscled women attractive, so it depends on her physique.
+1 yNo way. I'm 6' and 265, but once a woman passes 5' 8" she starts losing appeal/looks less attractive to me. I prefer short petite looking girls and athletic looking girls like some of the ones on the national soccer team are good too.

+1 yCan I just say that, as a women I would not date someone smaller than me
318 Reply- +1 y
what races would you not date either?
- +1 y
I don't care about your race. Still not dating someone smaller than me.
- +1 y
I'm not telling you to, I'm just curious what other deal breakers there are because you even know them as a person.
- +1 y
Other deal breakers are basically being liberal
- +1 y
Dictionary definition or your own personal perception?
- +1 y
Today's generation of liberal
- +1 y
can you define that, that's very vague. What if a person is pro-concentration camps for immigrants but for single payer healthcare?
- +1 y
There's not concentration camps in America for illegals.
I mean, pro abortion. For gun control. Against Trump. Feminist. Cares more about illegals than real citizens. Doesn't have a brain. Can't think. Etc - +1 y
Wait many republicans are against trump, does that make them liberal?
- +1 y
would you conservatives who had strokes and lose function of their brain, does that make them liberal?
- +1 y
Tomi Lahren is pro-abortion, but she shit talks liberals and claims to be a conservative, is she a liberal?
- +1 y
Are all babies liberals, because they can't think yet? that means we were all once liberal, s so do you accept former liberals who are tall?
- +1 y
When I say doesn't have a brain, I mean they don't think. As in, they don't check facts and believe whatever they see on the news.
News flash, most of America is for Trump. Or did you forget he's President of The United States. - +1 y
I checked the facts and he has under a 50% approval rating and lost the popular vote.
- +1 y
you were 15 when he was elected, did you learn about the electoral college in highschool?
- +1 y
You mean the "facts" from CNN? Those are all fake. You do realize hundreds of thousands people go to his speeches, right?
Yes, I know what the electoral college is. It ensures every state is heard equally, without it New York and Cali would control presidential elections. - +1 y
can you link me to this correct poll numbers?
- +1 y
that's a bit weird right? If it was a popular vote, new york and cali would pretty much display the general public's choice.
Doesnāt matter, if Iām attracted to her Iād like to date her. Itād be pretty interesting finding a girl I like whoās also stronger than me

+1 yI certainly would, that sounds ideal, as long as steroids were not involved of course, it would be nice having someone like that to have my back.
20 ReplyLove a women in shape that can hold her own, however for her to be bigger then me would just not be right. I also don't think she would look attractive to me, frist thought would be it's a man lol
20 Reply432 opinions shared on Dating topic. I would. Height is irrelevant to me, and I can work on getting bigger/stronger if I ever feel self-conscious about it.
+1 yI tried it once. Her height wasn't the issue. It was her manipulative behavior that doomed the relationship.
10 ReplyPretty much every girl I've dated I've been taller or bigger than, I tend to date feisty girls though so most like to think/may be stronger than me lol
10 Reply
+1 yTaller, yes. I have and I'm 6'2. She was a beach volleyball player.
Bigger and stronger? I suppose female heavyweight power lifters would be bigger and stronger, but they would be too masculine for me to find them attractive, so no.10 Reply
+1 yTaller - sure
Bigger - sure
Stronger - Doubt that would ever happen. I train semi-professionally in MMA and I'm not attracted to muscle women23 Reply- +1 y
@Renee93 I've participated in play-wrestling with girls before. But, I try my best to not use that much force and let them overtake me. lol. I've accidentally used too much force before though but it wasn't serious. It's quite easy to use too much on a smaller girl.
+1 yI take people as i find them personality is what attracts me to others
10 Reply
+1 yProbably not. She would be incredibly masculine and therefor not feminine enough for me
30 ReplyI'd be shocked if you found someone taller than me (6 foot 9) but sure lol
10 Reply
+1 yDepends. It would be intimidating, but if she's a kind, loving, compassionate, and affectionate girl, then I would. She'd have to pretty hot too.
10 Reply896 opinions shared on Dating topic. I'm 5'11, 202lbs, and 11.5% body fat. The only women who would meet those requirements are the ones on heavy doses of anabolics. No thanks
10 ReplyYeah if there was physical attraction and personal connection
10 Reply- 1.7K opinions shared on Dating topic.
+1 yNot really. Just like girls who don't date guys shorter, smaller and weaker than them.
40 Reply 2.2K opinions shared on Dating topic. I am okay with her being taller than me..
