I used to think that way, but there's reasons why people resort to online dating, at first I did it because my mom forbade me to have any contact with anyone for a while and I needed to date. Other times I used it because of a shortage of guys I would be attracted to in my area and it's easier then looking for them in the streets and clubs and wherever people typically look for hookups nowadays.
Some people, ie me, have trouble meeting people for dating and relationships in real life. On top of that I'm have anxious and socially awkward. So the only way I really can meet any potential partner is through dating apps
It's convenient and I feel like you get to really see more of who's in the area than just going out to places. There's more options and initiating is a lot easier.
Do you want to be one of 100 guys in a girls new message inbox messaging her "hey" or "beautiful eyes" everyday?
That's online dating.
It's for the lazy ones & full of excuses, and as a "talking mirror" for the deeply insecure.
