Fist it’s a double standard, Have you ever heard a man being described as a ‘hottie-digger’? No. Seemingly, it’s acceptable for men to value women for their looks. Men want beautiful women – or as beautiful as they can get. Yet, when women value men for their financial soundness, we’re described as gold-diggers. I think that is completely unfair. What’s good for the goose should be good for the gander, and if men are allowed to value something as shallow as the size of our butts, then we should be allowed to value something as shallow as the size of their bank accounts.

Well, here;s another perspective. Perhaps money is more than just body parts specifically designed to help bring yet another human into the world. Perhaps money takes more work than just letting a stick be rammed into you multiple times you every so often. Or not. I mean, gosh, think about all that shopping that must be done and surgeries too in order to keep up the looks for said ramming to continue! Way harder than say, getting shot in the leg in Iraq, getting the bar exam passed, or working to bild the next 1000 ft building with a few weak strings attached so at least the fall chance is only 85%. (better than 90% as in *insert country here* trust me). Nah, WAY more work gto have said stick ram into ya for an hour. Deserves way more cred, plus, fewf! That shopping spree is SUCH a workout! SOOO hard and the chaffeur wasn't even available until after lunch at La Madeline's! Can you imagine? Ugh men just don't get it!

The reason people malign it (men and women alike) is because money is an inanimate object that is completely separate from the person himself. Physical beauty is not. Physical beauty is part of our humanity, our body, our physical presence in the world. A woman's body is an integral part of who she is. Money is not. Dating someone for money tells the world that you don't really care about his personal qualities. It's unnatural.

Because the amount of wealth a person has can easily change, while a person attractiveness does not.
Sure there's ageing, but people don't just get old and wrinkle overnight -unlike wealth where a people can become a billionaire overnight or lose it all.

I'm not necessarily interested in the size of a woman's breasts/butt (both men and women look at the physical health or lack thereof of the people they might end up dating). In almost every case, women marry up for social status (e. g., Meghan Merkel) when it is far less prevalent men marrying women of a higher social class. This is how I see it anyway. To advocate for "equal pay for equal work" is to end the double standards favoring women.

Two problems with gold diggers: 1. They are in complete denial that they just use men for money, they try to pretend they care about him when it's really what he can buy for her. 2.
