I'd say the same. If a man is shorter than me he'd be a child! Literally.
I won't date someone who stresses me out! I won't date someone if I dont believe were compatible.. I won't date a married or taken man.. if he's a finalized devorsed man sure.. debating age wise atm one of my best friends wants to date me.. he came into my life at a challenging time and he's a year older than my brother but 5 years younger than me.. not sure he raised valid points so told him id think about it.. I won't date a player.. Most times I watch how they treat people like janitors or waitresses is it with respect.. does he hold the door for other people not just women.. when were walking does his eyes linger on a woman so their head turns.. if he's a frequent partier.. if he doesn't respect the way I am and tries to change me!
I guess if not dating someone because they are short is petty then ya I have. My husband said he has stopped or not dated a girl if she wasn't up to snuff with his friends. We grow out of a lot of these though. My husband didn't think he liked tall girls either but here we are
I'm already married so this is purely hypothetical for me.
So there are a few assumptions here:
1) I already accept that girl by face
2) I already accept that girl as a person
3) We are having our first date to see if we can proceed
4) This is not a sexual date
I would be surely put off, if (1) I see thick visible hair on her arms (2) I find her hands and feet to be anything less than nice, feminine and clean.
I know that these things are petty, or even non-issue to many guys.
So long as we get along and have some chemistry, I'll date pretty much any woman.
I have lost 40lbs but I still feel big so any guy who is skinny or short (I consider 5'9 to be tall) is not really dateable
I won't date women who are overweight, and i know thta sounds bad but its simply preference. Dating someone is not just for their personality, but for their looks as well. And for me i have to find them cute or there's no sexual interest at all. Is this bad?
I do have some shallow reasons but they could possibly be flexible up to a point.
