How do I get my sister a date?

Question

She keeps lamenting she "doesn't have anyone" and harps on me to no end, but she always rejected or went cold on the guys I presented her.
She's 25 and I don't think she ever dated or had a boyfriend, and I want for her to stop barging in my relationships or harp on me. Maybe if I find her someone that could help.
Suggestions?

In my opinion I think it’s not a good idea to force people.
I know you love your sister but your actions and approach even though you love her isn’t right.

She is rebeling.
Instead of getting her a date I would go about this another way.

Perhaps take her out to places, restaurants, bars, movies.
This will boast her confidence up.

Your sister isn’t stupid she knows she wants a guy but she’s obviously not ready as yet.

When the time is right it will be right.

Take her out to places for the moment and don’t force the topic of setting her up.

I would say maybe she has low self esteem or been though a few battles which caused this. Possibly rejection.

Until she finds someone she likes. She will most likely not date anyone.

Trying to set her up with someone you know. Can go either way.

There are other options like having her sign up for online dating or just having her go out and socially with people. Other then you and your spouse or family.

May take some time for her to find someone. But if she is not overly picky. While having a good personality. Then should not take her to long to find someone. Might help if she looks attractive and/or approachable.

This isn't really a you problem, it is hers. You could present her with a guy that is absolutely perfect for her and she will still turn him down. I think she's trying to fill an emptiness in her life with dating even if she doesn't want to date. I would suggest talking to her and telling her that if she really wants to date then she needs to make herself available emotionally and she needs to figure it out herself. While it is amazing that you're willing to do that for her, it is in now way your responsibility.

Omg you can't. She will get a date or make some effort when she really wants to. Don't allow her to barge into your relationships, keep it completely private just say no and she will back off. Maybe then if she can't butt in your romantic life, she will fill that space with her own or someone elses. Unless she joins G@G and finds your profile where you share everything haha :D

Don't interfere and do not set her up with anyone. The problem lays with her. She is not g9ing to stop. The problem is her and you need to straight tell her the truth she doesn't want to hear. She has the right idea in a way. But unless she befriends people and mingle and stop being super picky she wouldn't be in that fix.

Now let's say she wants to learn how to dance, you and your girlfriend go to dance class, but you ask your sister to join also and she will because she wants to learn this. Now you also bring your secret weapon, your guy friend that likes your sister. He will be her dance partner. Let the game begin. Speaking of games. It can be a game night, you play games where you have to work together in pairs, and then pair him up with your guy. All of those have one thing in common, she don't know your hooking her up with him, so she will relax more because of that.

Don’t. Just make it 1000% clear to her that if she doesn’t find a guy now she’ll be hurting when her biological clock goes off. Women get desperate & latch onto random dudes when that happens. Maybe she just afraid that her boyfriend might turn out to be a jerk or cheat on her or that she must have to go through break up. Such thoughts might be stopping her from dating. As you said she wants to date at the same time does not want to also. She must be having a lot of thoughts and doubts, or lack of self-confidence she's confused and doesn't know what to do.
