Why do you ghost instead of unmatching?

I've tried a few dating apps for awhile now and I, and everyone else I'm sure, get annoyed of ghosting. I assume women receive a ton of matches on dating apps and therefore have to be selective.

So if you start chatting up a guy and then later ghost, why don't you just unmatch them? You'd keep your chat log cleaner at least. Why keep the match if you're done talking?

Have not seen this unmatch option in the apps I’ve used so far. You can delete the messages but you’ll still receive new ones that they send unless you block them. Normally ghost “hey” as in the first message because I can tell the conversation will be dead 2 minutes in or its unfair to lead the guy on because Im simply not interested based on the profile. Otherwise I feel the conversations come to a natural end point.

I guess it's easier to ghost then be straight up and just tell them you don't want to continue talking

But why not just unmatch? Just remove that person from your list? You don't have to say I'm done talking with you.

cuz they have no Honor they are just stacking the deck waiting to see which is the highest card they will get , if you are a 5 and they only get 2 and 3 cards they will chose you. that's why, because they are all players and no longer diserv respect.

Because it's not a big deal. Ghosting after sending 10 messages isn't personal. Maybe they'll talk later but there wasn't enough motivation.

Dude women have so many matches cause so Desperate many guys like you are in theirs dms they have so many options that’s why if men stopped being desperate for like 3 months things would change but that is too much to ask for modern men. Guys on dating apps are fools
