What do you think of “the rise of men who won't date woke women”?

See several articles referring to Laurence Fox interview on BBC. What are your thoughts? Funny how women need men, like a fish needs a bicycle, until the bicycle rides away. Men should have preferences and choices too. Why would men always want to be seen as the problem.

Women will justify their own standards and will mock any man who whines and complains about them. Then very often they'll do the exact same thing when they hear that a man has standards which they personally don't like. That's what's going on here. These are the female equivalent of "nice guys" and "incels".

The same women who are complaining about this will openly say that for example they wouldn't date Trump supporters. There's nothing wrong with that of course, not wanting to date somebody with opposing values is sensible. To complain about that when the shoe is on the other foot is hypocritical.

I even saw one article where they said that men not wanting to date woke women was "dangerous". Really? Somebody not wanting to date you is "dangerous"? How? That's ridiculous.

You summed it up and the big problem i have with feminism. They make every good associated with fem = good, masculine = toxic, bad. Total power grab. If really wanted equality, gender wouldn’t be mentioned, which would make them humanists, which i can support.

100%. What most of these arguments are really about is power games. Attempts to manipulate the culture as a whole, for women by controlling perception mainly through shaming language. The main place where women have power, or at least think they have power, is in the dating game.

If they can convince men that if they have a certain standard that makes them "dangerous", if they can convince other women that such men are "dangerous", then they can increase their level of influence. That might have worked in the past but it really doesn't work anymore.

It only really works sometimes on the kinds of men who struggle to get laid and think that the way to increase their chances is to do whatever women tell them to, but the reason those guys struggle is because women don't want them. So it works on the guys women are much less attracted to, don't really want, and only settle for - not on the ones they actually want.
