How many people have known or have met their great grandparents?

I don't know nor have I ever met my great grandparents.

My great-grandmother died when I was 16. Shortly after my grandmother (her daughter ) died. Sad she had to see another of her kids go before her. My aunt died after the both of them. It all happened in the space of 3 months.

It wasn't that bad. After the first funeral I had a car wreck which made me lose most of my memories of my great-grandmother, so her death wasn't as hard to deal with :)

I knew one great grandmother.
my kids met two of their great grandmothers and one is still going as my eldest approaches 18.

I knew my great grandmother on my mother’s side until she passed away when I was maybe 8-9 years old. I never knew my great grandmother on my dad’s side but I did know my great aunt. She unfortunately passed away last year.

I met one of them. They died at 94 I believe and I was around 8 by the time. I can't recall much about them but I remember the last time I met them. It was summer and we had strawberries and cream

I knew two of my grwat grandmothers. Knew one of my grandfathers, and both of my grandmothers. My grandmother is still with us at 93.

I met both of my moms parents - grandma and grandpa Grider - but only one of my dads parents - grandpa Heistand - for my dads mom passed away a few years before I was born ! thanks

I didn't meet both my grandma's they passed before I was born, but I met my mom's grandparents several times , they were a cute couple.

I met one as a baby. My hubby tho still has his great grandpa so my kids have a great great grandpa. It's pretty crazy cuz he's only 80 and has a lot more years to go

Only seen one great grand mother, when I was 6 as she lived ~2,5k miles away, she were very happy to see me and had sound mind to last day.

She died few years after, 100 and something y. o.

My great grandfather on my paternal grandfathers side died when I was 8 great grand mother
Died when I was 14 she was 94 I also met my great grandmother on my paternal
Grand mothers side only saw here once or twice

I lived with my great-grandmother when I was a baby and toddler. She died when I was 2.
