Guys who are nitpicky/argumentative on the 1st date?

This seems to be a common issue I've been running into especially with guys from online dating. I met up with a guy yesterday who seemed to nitpick all the details of what I said, for example he asked if I would ever try skydiving. I said maybe, I think jumping out of the plane would be the hardest part for me. He said "but you're not the one doing the jumping the first time, you're attached to an instructor". And then we went back and forth on this for like 2 mins until I got frustrated and said "Fine I meant the moment you leave the plane, is that clear enough?". He corrected me like this at least 7-8 times throughout the conversation. He wants to meet up again but I just feel annoyed at him.. are guys like this worth giving a 2nd chance?

I rejected my friend of 25 years this week for that reason - constantly nitpicking for stupid reasons - I said I was glad I rejected the guy who used to like me since he always said yes when I offered to buy him things which I did as pa- she yment for giving me rides everywhere - and I said he could marry me and then divorce me and take half my family inheritance money if he loves money more than he loves me - she got mad and said he can't take my money unless I'm the one who initiates the divorce - then when I said the guy at Starbucks was flirting with me to get tips and get more traffic to his restaurant - she got angry and said he wasn't flirting with me - he was talking to me - when I told her I check the stocks daily to see if my parents stock is improving she got mad and said your not supposed to check your investment daily only weekly or monthly - that is why I say - no more friends - she could die in a train crash for all I care - I won't go to her funeral
