My son is 16 going on 17, he's a little lighter than me. I am thick 5'4" with a huge chest.. he's taller looks a tad bit older than 16, when at the mall shopping or going places.. people are always complimenting him on what a fine looking girlfriend he has... He has a job so sometimes he takes me to a nice dinner, the wait staff asks if it's a special occasion... a few guys have said... "I'd be hittin that every night, I hope you are."

There's not much you can do some people are a bit crass. I wouldn't be too hard on the other guys they tend to high-five one anotherand also it's really a proxy compliment to you. They probably just see your boobs and wish they were the ones taking you to dinner among other things. But also if you have a 17 year old son and you're 29 that would mean you had him at the age of 12. 29 is just the age that display is on your profile so if you're older than that I think it's great that you still look young enough to be dating a young man.

I know your pains, but I'm not sure you can do much about that.

I've had issues of people mistaking me & my sisters as a couple (so I'm 2-timing , I guess?) and searched the web for solutions. Sadly, there were even family-members who wore t-shirts with their family-designation on it or blatantly calling each other by designation often while in public, and people still mistook them as couple. Now, I we keep a distance from each other while in public, so there are fewer (blatant) instances.

It sucks that the automatic association of closeness to another person (esp. of opposite sex) must involve romance and/or access to their genitals. So far as I see it, it reflects more on them (& and what they consider the sole payment for the effort of getting and staying close to anyone), than on us.

YIKES! AWKWARD! When I was a teen, people thought my Mom was my sister or my GF! We would laugh and blame on her good genes or make-up!

All teenage boys are emotional rollercoasters. I would have an adult conversation about it with him. Ask him how he feels about it? Does it make him feel uncomfortable? If he's not bothered by it, then neither should you be. In fact, it's a fantastic compliment for you!
If he is bothered by it, ask his advice, he'll respect you for it.

As for me, we now joke about it! You have to have sense of humor in life, especially about yourself.
