Still confused about guy after second date? Please give advice?

I’ve always found my guy friend attractive (we weren’t really close) and I’d always see him staring at me. I didn’t decide to act on it until March (we began texting more). We went out to lunch and had plans to meet up again, but couldn’t. Anyway, in May I told him that I was interested, and that it’ll be ok if he doesn’t feel the same way. He told me that he hasn’t been thinking about dating, but would love to see me more. I visited him and we explored his town and had lunch. He paid for everything (but I still cashapp’ed him back). Anyway, I didn’t really feel a “spark”. We didn’t lock eyes, didn’t hold hands. The only physical contact we had was when I hugged him before driving back home. However, he did say that he wants to hangout with me again and will try to see me before the semester starts.
I’m inexperienced with dating (I’m assuming he is too) and so I’m not sure what to do or how to decipher his actions, since he gave me an ambiguous answer when I told him how I felt.

My guy friend said that I should send him (the guy this question is about) a nude to see how he responds. But what if he only sees me as a friend?

Ok so let's start with the nude. Don't. If you were not really close to him you don't truly know him, and that gives him a red flag... you can Google more about that. He said he wants to see you so it means he is willing to spend his time with you, that's means he is interested in you. The spark you meant, from my experience, I just feel something when I know i start to like the other girl, so don't worry about that. Build a friendship with him first, let yourselves enter in eachother life's and see if he worthy of a relationship. Feelings just don't appear from one date.

No need to rush. To me it seems like he needs time and wants to get to know you better before he can say more about how he feels.
The idea with the nude is stupid in my opinion. You want him to like you for you and not for your body. He will probably think you're easy to get after receiving a nude HE DIDN'T ASK FOR.
