Went on a 1st date last week with a guy and he texted saying he had a great time and so did I. I asked him on 2nd date Saturday afternoon he said yes, then said he would have to see when he was free. Never responded so left it until the next evening and messaged again.
He took about an 1hr to respond and said the same thing will have to see when I’m free, but how’s your weekend etc.
Part of me felt like he’d moved on/not keen now.
Apart from that there has been no red flags and no pushing for sex etc which I liked.
I get where all seeing other poeple just think if you not interest why not say and we can both move on.
It's now Tuesday afternon and I've just got a message saying he's sorry he's been useless at texting the last few days as he's been busy with work and stuff. He said I won't be free this week, but can still do something at the weekend if you want?
I had a good time on the 1st date, but now just trying to decide if to do the 2nd date or not.
When he says if you want does that mean he's not a fuss and is hopping I say no or does he want to go on a second date with me.

I say go out with him again! You had a good time on the first date, so see if you have a good time again.
Wait and see if he will ask you out for a third date though. It is very possible that he was just busy, but if he does something like this again... run. Or else you're gonna end up constantly feeling like a second choice.
The way he worded his text could be him acknowledging that he kinda blew you off and is curious if you're even still interested. If you go out with him and he seems different and not into it, then you'll know he didn't have the balls to tell you.
Whatever you decide, good luck!
Thanks for the advice. Agreed to the date and he offered to take the 1hrs drive to my area this time. So that could be a good sign.
Aww, I think that's a great sign!! I hope your date goes well 💗
Give him one more chance, and move on if he keeps putting you off.
