Probably not cause of my own stupid mind.
For better and for worse, I have an overly imaginative mind which exaggerates any situation I encounter.
So sometimes even the smallest issues give me too much stress and tension cause I overthink.
So even if it was a small crime, my scaredy cat of a brain will make me worry too much.
My brain will go from scenarios like she doing rhe crime on me to something like her being falsely accsued and jailed.
I don't want any person to put up with that, they need someone more sensible.

I liked your question and gave it a "thumbs up."
I'm currently corresponding with a female prisoner in FL. She got 7-years for Drug Conspiracy. I've never talked to her or physically seen her. We just write back and forth.

Prisoners are people who have made mistakes and now doing their time. So I would date someone who has a criminal past. With exceptions though. I would date someone who has a criminal past and is a Bernie fan.

I once met someone and he told me he was in prison for false claims of drug dealing
He never heard of me again😂
He said it was false claims but he doesn't know that I have a family with major detective skills 😂
One word to them and I had a full background check so hasta la vista 😂🖐🏿

You're lying. Your family cannot access a background check for an arbitrary reason. Unless by background check you mean they thoroughly looked into his personal life on the internet or something.

Felon or violent felon, absolutely not. Multiple drug or theft charges, absolutely not. One stupid, pretty minor thing someone did as a kid and now regrets might be another story, depending on what it was and if they learned from their mistakes.

A violent felon? How long ago? Who was the victim? Are there extenuating circumstances? How is their character now?

I have morals if they went past my own morals nope. If they didn't i would. Violent felon again would have to be against my morals let's say was violent to a rapist by assaulting him i would 100% be good with that. Really depends on were they fit on the moral line. I do believe 2 wrongs make a right in a case like this. But if it was assaulting a innocent person nopes

I’d have to know what led up to the incident, and then I’d consider it. There are certain types of felonies that would be dealbreakers for me. I wouldn’t date a rapist, or a murderer. But for most things short of that, if there were extenuating circumstances, or things escalated more than the person anticipated, then sure.

Depends on the crime and depends on if he is regretful of that, if he believes he should've behaved differently and has overcome that side of him. I don't hold anyone's past against them unless it's still present or if they judge others with the same past and act like hypocrites.

Depends on how criminal. I'd date someone who jay walked ten years ago. Wouldn't date a child rapist. "Criminal" is a very broad term. I mean, there are some crazy state laws out there. Like in one state it's illegal to order a piece of pie at a diner and not finish it. In another state it's illegal to swim on land. I'd date someone who didn't finish their pie or swam on land. Like a rebel.

I don't put much faith in the system so i definitely don't follow their logic of what's a felony and what isn't.
Now I probably wouldn't date someone who's really bad (rapist, sex predator, or mentally unstable degenerate...) But someone who's done crimes out of necessity or a false sense of righteousness and did her time I'd probably give her a chance and not judge her based on past mistakes.

It would depend on whether it’s someone who made a bad decision in the past, paid for it, and made the choice to get back on the right track, or a career felon with no conscious. I defend both and there’s a distinct difference between the two.

Without a doubt. In today's world 90% of us are criminals to one extent or another so unless you're a murderer or a rapist or a pedophile there's nothing wrong with dating a criminal. Personally I think rapists and pedophiles should have their dick and balls cut off and the words pervert branded into their forehead.

Depends on what their criminal past is, like if it’s murder or assault or something like that, then that’s a no. But it was something like petty stealing when they were young then maybe.

Women secretly get turned on by that. They like the bad boy element and also being “the one to change him”.

I know I wouldn’t unless it was a non violent crime years ago. However not every “criminal” was guilty.

A man punching a woman in the face out in self defense is not a crime. Especially if she has a weapon. But she can twist society and the legal system to make it look like she is the victim.

It REALLY depends on the crime, so yes I would, if it wasn't something serious. For example, if a girl got caught shoplifting when she was 16 and it's still on her record. However, I wouldn't date anyone with a history of crimes or an ongoing pattern, no matter what they are.

It would depend on a number of things. How violent was the crime? Is she repentant? Has she attempted to make amends with the victim? Were there extenuating circumstances?

A shorter answer: Probably not. Big red flag.

Depends how severe and whether it was justified or not.
If someone threw acid in your friend's face and walked away, technically you should let them leave, call an ambulance and report them to the police.. but I sure as hell would make sure their face ends up the same way. I would call that justified and if that is the reason they went to jail, I'd be ok with that.

I have, he was a career criminal - drug /guns dealer, had girls working for him,
& had been in & out of jail his whole life. He had stopped everything else except taking drugs when I met hi. Through a friend. He decided to quit of his own choice so he could pursue me. We lasted over a year, it wasn't his past that broke us up, but how he treated my kids, & his gradual emotional manipulation.

It depends on the crime. Likely not someone with a violent crime, but other minor crimes yeah.

Even with a violent felon, it depends. She offed the guy who molested her or one of her siblings? Yes, I probably would. Armed robbery or the like? Probably not.

Yes I would. I mean I used to be pretty close to a ex drug dealer I think. I think it's pretty shallow for anyone to turn down someone just because of their past...

Depends if its something minor like killing all the religious people on earth and burning anything religious to ashes sure but if they molested a poor none religious kid then definitely no

Depends on if they tortured codyccc for being a prick or not. That is ok because sick people like him need to be put down.

It depends on the details I suppose. Are there extenuating circumstances? Such as did she attack her molester or a dealer that sold her best friend bad shit or something?

Not the type specified in the update. I'd also lose respect for people I know who did that.

It depends on the crime committed and if they have changed into a better person.

It depends, what type of felony he/she made and under what circumstances. We are all humans at the end.
