Can guys be too shy to ask on second date?

Went on a nice first date with a dating app man, he asked me on another at the end. The date was two weeks ago, he’s still texting me and he seems more interested than ever in his texts, but he hasn’t brought up meeting again :(

If it's two weeks ago, and he's still texting you then I would say he's still interested but if he's interested then there's no real reason why he hasn't ask yet. Perhaps hint in a conversation with him or ask him why he asked you out on another date yet and see what he says.
