When is he going to pull the boyfriend card?

This guy that I am talking to.. We have been 'talking/dating.' We've already had sex. We kiss. We cuddle. He texts me everyday.. He ended up telling his parents about me, along with his sister and few friends. The confusing thing is, when is he going to pull the boyfriend card?

Dating is so confusing in this society. I'm foolish for having no idea with what is going on.

How do guys ask? Do they do it in a specific timing?

We haven't went on a dinner date yet. He says he wants to take me, but we haven't had the time due to Covid-19. Blah! Haha. No. But seriously...

Whoops! I forgot. We have been talking for a while now. We have also confessed our feelings together. We obviously both like each other, and he knows that I'm being serious along with himself.

Just ask him if he considers you guys a couple. From what I just read, you both act as a couple anyways. I'm not sure of saying the word would change anything, although I suppose it would be a good litmus test for his levels of commitment. Lots of people get comfortable in relationships but refuse to define it as such in the hopes that they can withdraw from the obligations that follow from that.

Why would he? your lack of boundaries means he doesn't need to. You are doing all of the things couples do, without being a couple. Therefore what incentive is there to make it official?

There should be certain things only reserved for a person that has demonstrated they are quality, and made a commitment first.

Ask him if he think the two of you are considered a couple? Some guys think because you have been out with each other, had sex, and so on that the words boyfriend and girlfriend are automatically understood and don't need to be said. Maybe he is shy about that or doesn't want you to think differently if you two are in a relationship. Tell him you want him to be your boyfriend and you want to be his girlfriend and see what he has to say.

If just ask what's going on between the two of you and if your okay with the way things are and not being official than let him know but if you want a relationship and you think he feels the same way and cares about you than let him know. Well either way wish you the best of luck!

But maybe he does have romantic feelings for you so why not suggest to him that you go out for dinner sometime, or even just for coffee or a drink or a movie?

In this day & age there's nothing wrong in a girl taking the initiative dating-wise
