Me and my boyfriend have been together for four years now and we've just bought are first home together. We are really happy and love each other so much.
I've been dropping hints like no ones business but I wanna get a ring on my finger and he's been making jokes and asking me questions about my thoughts if we got married etc.
Today he was late picking me up from work when I asked why over phone he sounded like he was in a building. When I asked why he been late he said him and his mum were spending time together and but he'd already had dinner so not to bother making him any.
I later found out he'd been out into the city with his mum. My favourite ring shop happens to be in the city and he keeps making silly little jokes about that shop everything we walk past like "dam it I forgot to go into the ring shop"
His mum knows that shop had my dream engagement rings too and is always asking me about it.
I asked why he went into town and he said he went clothes shopping. My boyfriend hates clothes shopping and I literally tried to get him to go with me the other day and he said he didn't want to and can't afford it. I asked to see the clothes and he said they were at his mums. I asked why the clothes were at his mums because he can't wear them if they are at hers.
He avoided the question and I said I'm not dumb Matthew and he just giggled and went off for a nap.
Later on he told me he's taking me out for a day trip to my favourite place tomorrow and to make sure i have a nice outfit sorted.
We also visited my family last weekend so it would give him plenty of time for him to tell them what he's planning.
I asked my sisters if they knew anything and they said no bur were kinda jealous if its what I think because they are both older then me and there boyfriends haven't bought a house with them or anything
