I think that that question should been asked the other way around, mainly to see how many girls here are turn-off by nerdiness, unless a nerd guy is genius bruiser like Gohan he is unlike to be seen as hot, same goes for nerd girls, though nerdiness matters less in girls case, still a nerd girl is more likely to be seen as cute ( as long as she is pretty) than hot. I would not use the word hot even for a virgin girl, even though I highly value girls who are not sluts, and most nerd girls are not virgin, showing how easy it for girls to find sex ( as long as they are not totally ugly). If find nerd girls more interesting, but if a nerd girl is slutty then she is not much special than other girl in my book, also physically nerd girls are not more hot looking than girly girls, and guys usually judge a girl's value mostly by looks.

I mean as long as she is not a jerk about it. To my experience two people can seem like a great match because on paper they have a lot in common, but that doesn't always happen in real life. I feel that's because there are way more elements than just characteristics like that. Yeah nerdy is attractive to me, but if she is rude and vile then give ma a dumb sweet nurturing woman any day of the week. Voted no, they CAN be hot but I wouldn't find a guy more attractive than any other just cause he's a nerd and I wouldn't find a guy less attractive if he's not a nerd. Though there is a difference between being a nerd and being intelligent, an inteligent guy would definitely be more attractive.
However, past guys that i've liked or would consider dating, they're generally not the nerdy type

personally i think they're easier to communicate ideas/thuoghts with can't deal with idiotic people that I can't get through to or have to keep explaining to. Also they'd be more knowledgable in differnt areas and there's more topics I can talk to them about (intelligence isn't restricted to book smarts). Honestly i think the key thing is, the convo will flow smoother and it's just cool to be smart in my opinion

Gotcha that makes sense. I took it as someone with a genius level IQ was hotter than a normal guy. See what you mean and would agree with they are challenged mentally I wouldn’t like having to choose my words, repeat them, and have to explain or dumb them down. There is freedom and excitement when you can banter with someone on a higher plane and can bounce ideas off each other without having to over explain. Conversations seem to be art and playful when our words can communicate emotions and paint beautiful landscapes of our mind.

Like with anyone, it depends on the woman for me.

One problem is, while my best bet for finding someone who would accept and love me would probably be a nerdy woman, there are also things I tend to find in those same types of women that I would consider dealbreakers and huge red flags.

There's also not a very nerdy culture where I live, and those few pockets of nerd culture that ARE around are largely male. Decent for friendships, not great for dating.
