I read and collect manga, and I consider myself a professional Cosplayer. I never miss a Cosplay event in the Tokyo Prefecture. I also score fairly high on intelligence tests at my school. Does this make me a nerd? 😆 I don't really understand the "nerd" stereotype in the USA. Why do people equate intelligence with a total lack of social skills? I have heard about people actually trying to appear less intelligent in public in order to fit in. 🤯

As a former nerdy girl, I found that I still got a decent amount of attention from guys. Not as much as the popular airhead might, but still a good amount. There's someone for everyone; still today, I like nerdy guys. Nerds are just cooler. They're smart and definitely have more depth than the average person. Find something they're passionate about, and they can be great conversationalists.

It's hard to find non fake sexy girls but I will say this, cosplay girls, while many do it for the money and social attention, there is a part of me that knows, deep down you have to be a nerd somewhere in there and to me, that's fun and attactive

Definitely not a turn off or deal breaker for myself. So yes definitely can be hot and attractive to be a nerd because to each their own and to that point if you're passionate about something why not go all out it can be a definite sign of confidence so I say onto thee onward
