depends on the timing. It would be nice it if the date was right after his work but its not practical as we would want to go home and change. It could also spoil conversations during the actual date. If you were to do it it should be ideal on a non date night closer to the end of his shift that way you 2 can go some place after or just hang out. say if you haven't seen each other in like a few days type of timing
