Did anyone think their date was loosing interest and then you ended up together?

Been seeing a guy for 3 months now and recently I feel like he has been less interested. However, we have both been extremely busy and I think I may be overthinking it.

But was just wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation where they thought it wasn’t going to work out and then you ended up in a relationship together. Would love to hear these stories to give me some hope as I really like the guy and would like things to go further.
