Should I continue dating this girl?

Started dating her a few weeks ago after meeting her on a dating site. She’s really pretty and seems like a genuine person. We’ve seen each other a few times and, in all honesty, the dates have been stellar! The problem is, she is super young. I’m 25 and she is 18–just starting college. Like, I know the age difference isn’t even that bad but I sense that something is off. She doesn’t have a problem with the age gap. I mean, I finished college a few years ago and she is just starting. My friends say that the age gap isn’t an issue, but I kinda disagree with them. I don’t really know how to tell her tbh. I don’t want to be an asshole that says “oh well yeah you’re too young for me.” If I can’t get over my hesitation, how do I tell her without looking like a douche?

Should I break it off with her or should I give us a try? If I continue dating her, she will definitely be hurt when I break it off if I can’t get over the age gap. What would you do in my situation? Thanks

If you dont see this going further (for any reason at all) then you could break it off now and spare her feelings. Don't do that unless you don't think it could work though. don't do it just because it might be too many years in between. Is she mature are you mature? Are you attracted to her. Is it a local or long distance relationship? Is she likely to move after she finished college? Think it through before you decide. Good Luck to you both

Great response. Yeah, she is pretty mature for her age actually. A lot more mature than some of the girls I see on these apps anyhow. We live about 15 mins from each other, so really close. She hasn’t even moved out of her parents house yet. I don't know man, like I want to date her but maybe later in life. I sound like a douche. Thanks

Unless you want to marry her in a year break it off and date a girl 5 years away from your age at most.
