Are men of any age who drive convertibles taken seriously? If you saw a man driving a Lexus convertible like this car, what would you think about him?

I would think he's awesome. Well, takes something to even afford a good one, no, even if he's so old that he's like squinting on a mountain and drives off a cliff and explodes? I never had a convertible. Seems like too much of a PITA to maintain and keep clean. But I think that's cool. Miami vice!
https://www.youtube.com/embed/_UmOY6ek_Y4I never got to experience that guy's thing of owning a car. I only got the limos and taxis and some trains. I had a car when I was in high school (shit Honda Accord). But I never really got that sense of driving wherever, doing whatever, in the car... like that romance. But if I ever wanted to explore the romance, I want convertible or motorcycle -- one or the other where I can feel the wind in my face.
I'd assume they liked the feeling of the wind in their hair. That they were the outdoorsy or beach type. I wouldn't take them any less seriously for it. As to Lexus specifically, that brand is basically just a Toyota in fancy clothes; Toyota tends to make good, reliable cars. I don't see a problem.
I'd assume he likes to drive with the top down, the wind blowing on his face and knows how to choose an automobile brand that retains most of its value.

It depends where he's driving, surely?
Winter here is regularly mid 20s centigrade during the day and in summer it's upper 30s centigrade. I'd drive a convertible here because it works out healthier than constantly recycling air in an a/c unit.
I really don't care what anybody drives.
It's more, how you drive that pisses me off sometimes.
Don't be an ass and use your blinker, keep your speaker at a decent level, don't create dangerous moments for other people and drive like you are not alone in the road.
Looks like a decent car. Had a Lexus too for a while a pearl white GS300 with white leather interior. Was fun to ride and looked nice. A real money pit though, so probably won't go that route again.
I would think he is a Golfer, it is his choice to have that car and it doesn't really mean anything bad.
Whaaaat? why does a car affect how you think about its owner? a car is a car... you are an immature idiot... lol I think a convertible would be fun to drive if I didn't live in a rainy location.. Tell me the truth... are you on crack?
I assume that they are pretentious. No problem with owning the newest best cars. But cars that looks extra fancy singles an inflated ready to pop ego
Depends on the guy. Some just buy convertibles because they like the breeze.
i generally don't care much about what car people drive. i sort of scoff at people who think that's important to be honest xD
I would think it's out of the norm since most people drive trucks where I live.
Nothing. He's rich and knows driving 🤔
