I've heard many men say they are put off by black women due to their aggressive and masculine personalities. Do you think this is the root cause for their desirability in dating?

Wow. Let me say some of these comments are very ignorant and stereotypical, though I am really not surprised since people can hide behind a computer screen or phone and say what they really feel.

Black woman here. I will say it's discouraging to know we're considered the least desirable race out there. And yes, there is truth to this statement: even on dating sites, it's been statistically proven that black women have a harder time finding dates than any other ethnicity. Why?

I blame negative stereotypes and how others perceive us. There are so many negative stereotypes based around black women- we're loud, obnoxious, ghetto, masculine... the list goes on.
So people already have these perceived thoughts about us, true or not.

Meaning those of us that are educated, have good jobs, take care of our bodies, are feminine, etc... will still be looked at in a negative manner because of how others have been taught or assume all black women behave!

It's pathetic really because for those of us that are desirable are still looked over unless we have lighter skin, or "act white" as I've been called by some people. The fact that someone considers me not behaving like a typical black woman as unusual says a lot about how people view black women. And it's sad; it really is.

No. Men that aren’t attracted to them, do so because they were brainwashed by the Eurocentric beauty standard pushed by the medias. Supermodels don’t need an amazing personality to be attractive on a cover and yet you barely see one that’s not white with light features. most men care about their image and only want to be seen with the woman that’s the most conventionally attractive, when extremely thin women with narrow hips were the standards, you would see many guys drooling over girls that look like that, and now that insta models with big booties are desirable you see guys ignoring girls with no curves and making fun of them. If the medias stated the day after that black women are more attractive you would see many guys throwing many scientific facts about how white women are biologically less desirable. Some men are mature enough to not care about it and to only go after what they like wether society worship it or no.

I am a white male. From the perspective of a white male, most of us don't really care about the color of your skin. That said, all of us white men know white men who would never date a Black women and the reasons I have most commonly heard given are as follows:

1) "They have a racial chip on their shoulder."
2) "Their family won't like me because I'm White."
3) "My family won't like her because she's Black."
4) "We would be too culturally different to have anything in common."

Everything that comes after 4 is racist and I won't repeat here.

As long as people promote these negative stereotypes through various media, it becomes hard for people to accept that there are endless varieties of differences in any group. If a black girl wants to be a black girl, and this is all she sees in the media, how is she to become anything other than a clone of these negative stereotypes? Let's encourage people to be unique... to be themselves.

As a black man, I can it's half true. Half is personality, the other half are a f*ckton of other things; socioeconomic status, inferior public education, lack of father figures or strong male role models, negative past associations with unfaithful men (often black men), etc.

However, to be fair, MOST Western women nowadays aren't really too attractive on the inside. THAT can probably be blamed on modern Feminism, woke culture, Princess Syndrome, laziness, entitlement, porn, polyamory/cuckolding, simps, and other reasons.

So while some black women come off too ghetto to want to date, white and Asian women in the West aren't exactly much better or more appreciative of men nowadays. Sadly, places like Japan, South Korea, and India are starting to get "woke" too, making them soon to be as horrible as Western liberal women.

The reason why black women are seen as less desirable is bc for hundreds of years being black wasn't seen as beautiful.

I mean look at places like Ghana and other places in Africa where skin bleaching is a massive thing, bc there trying to live up to the European standards of beauty.

There are exceptions. However, the primary reason is on average, black women are the least feminine and Asian women are the most feminine, and men are attracted to more feminine women. Asian men have difficulty because, while black men are the most masculine, Asian men are the least masculine, and women are attracted to more masculine men.
