Are You A Jealous Person?

Question

I’m a jealous person when it comes to dating or relationships... It’s not even about trust I just like to claim whatever’s mine.

If a girl wants to be his friend she’s OUR friend.
I understand he’ll check out other girls but he should keep it to himself.
He’s not to follow any girls on social media.
These are just some points and I won’t ask him to do this, I’ll just expect it.

Years ago I cought my self feeling Jealous , and I had to really think about it, on the reason why ,, and I told my self if I'm feeling this way there is a reason.. I asked myself I'm I not good enough, what is making me think she would leave me for someone else,,, and that's when I told myself I can't tell her what to do I can't control her , and I can't stop her if she did leave me for someone else,, there's nothing I could do it's her choice, just like it's her choice to be with me,,,,, so stop being or feeling insecure about nothing and in the same sentence don't give her any reasons to look at me and feel the same way I think we should get to know somebody, and you know how their personality is, then you know it's just that person being friendly or nice or just them that's it I have been dating somebody before and had a friend walk up and hug me or kiss me and say something kind of naughty to me not knowing that the girls getting kind of by Me was my girlfriend and I had to say hey this is my girlfriend right here and they totally apologized. But I have that girls walk up to me before and do the same thing knowing that that girl that I was standing next to was my girlfriend is that really kind of pisses me off. And you kind of have to be a dick, and say hey what are you doing you know that's my girlfriend right there don't be doing this crap. Because all you're doing is trying to start problems so stay away from me please. You know I don't get jealous because there's nothing to be jealous of that person's with you you were with then if they're going to leave you they're going to leave you and vice versa

I get twangs of it for sure, and they are very justified because there's been three instances of it changing my relationship with my man/men.

But I can control it, and do. I rise above it, because I won't let my emotional side control my rational side.

Yeah I get really jealous but definitely when I was younger it was draining and now I know to be rational. If he wants to flirt. I will flirt with someone else too.

I don’t get jealous straight off the back, I get jealous if the guy does suspicious things like favour a woman other than his family over me or hint that he is close to somebody he previously likes.

Thats not jealousy, thats possessiveness.

Jealousy is when you want something someone else has.

Possessiveness is when you defend against someone else being jealous of what you have.

I'm not jealous, but posessive? yeah, and so were the women I dated.

I think its a very endearing quality to stake claim on someone you love and gaurd them like they are a precious treasure (provided it's reciprocated anyway), it says that person values being exclusive with you, possessive women are the best in my opinion.

I used to be jealous before, but it was energy draining and it didn't bring anything positive to my relationships. Therefore I tried to stop being jealous. Now I'm much better and very rarely get jealous. If I do get jealous, I usually try to talk to myself before and try to rationalize it before I can act on it.

No, I'm literally the opposite. I check out other girls with my man (if I had one), I don't care if he follows girls on socials as long as he's not hitting them up, and I don't have to be close with all of his friends, although I'd prefer to know them at least somewhat.

A guy might look to other girls but nothing special, just a normal glimpse, what matters to him is his sweet housewife especially if she have the rapunzel hair 😊

Yes, I can be jealous. But not too much. This by no means suggests that I can't be pushed far. If it goes too far, then it starts getting very annoying rather than just being jealous.
